HALLOWEEN!!!!

WHERE 5 DOLLAR MASK COSTUMES HAPPEN

-TO finish what I was saying yesterday. I like this time of the year through mardi gras because you have the BCS coming up, college basketball is starting, The NBA is starting, The hornets are supposed to be great this year, i was there from day one litterly. Have the ticket framed above my computer. I hope I can stay healthy and get a chance to see some of friends from out of town. That's always fun. We have the will they make the playoffs with an 9-7 record question with the saints (no!) where they always lose in December.

I think the most painful Saints loss for me ever happened in december in the early 2000's when They could of clinched a playoff spot with a tie or a win and the Daunte Culpepper of the Vikings went for TWO after the touchdown for no reason and they got it to eliminate the aaron brooks lead saints from the playoffs. Keep in mind to add to the pain I was watching it from the hospital in my hospital bed while the stupid nurse tried to be funny by saying stuff like "I hear the saints are going to sign a free agent QB who is korean- Win wun soo" while taking blood test at that exact moment culpepper got the 2 point conversion. I've tried to block that out but it comes up every year around the time the Saints hover around .500

-Tonight's halloween. I'm not really into it like I was when I was younger but here's a list of my favorite costumes-

"Master Splinter" The ninja rat on Ninja Turtles. This most have been around 1990 when turtles were the coolest thing for 5 year olds.

Spider- I hate bugs! but this one was an orange and black spider that my mom made. Or at least nearly 20 years later she says she did.

one year when Dennis Rodman was at the hight of his um....fame playing for the bulls, I spray painted my hair blue and wore a scottie pippen jersey since I didn't have rodman's (pippen also played for the bulls duh) this hairspray was coming out after about 20 minutes as soon as i started to sweat.

Another year I was a hockey player complete with St. Louis Blues jersey (very ugly jersey, it had stripes going down from the right should to the left hip) without a shirt on underneath. at least I was 10 years old with no fat or a harry chest. I wore a white plastic mask with no features on it that cost about 1 cent to make that we bought for 9.99, this was the fall I discovered the game.......... NHL '96!!! Great times. so this was 1995

when I was about 8 years, I put facepaint on my face where half of it was red and the other blue and the middle was white to be some over the top patriotic steroided up wrestler who i can't remember. I wore normal clothes with the face paint though luckily otherwise it would have looked like this-

not that i look bad by the way at any age.....well except maybe 2003 mike but I had an off year, like tiger I was under going a swing change

how i am

FIRST WE'RE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS
THEN WE'RE GOING TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP
THEN WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY LAND
THEN 7 TO 10 DAYS LATER THIS PICTURE WILL BE ON MY WALL
WHY? The insight of a ff genius (mike boh) and the vision of a guru (chris) of course
Today we had the carpenter come to fix the TV. The thing was they put it in making it look really ugly. it was like trying to fit something that didn't fit into a cabinet so they made this ugly stand to make it fit. None of that. It will be back up by the weekend.
I spent the morning and part of the after noon filing comics. I do it on a database program called www.comiccollectorlive.com for anyone that's interested (no one) it is a great invention
A correction in my NBA picks. I don't know what the heck I was thinking picking Milwauke to go to the conference finals and being the #4 team in the east. I forgot about them trimming payroll and getting rid of mo williams. I thought they had him and Richard Jefferson AND michael redd. i can't believe i wrote that really long preview and over looked that.
I'm having kind of an up and down day health wise. I think my salt medicine which I inhale is starting to make it hard to eat because I get the tough to swallow feeling. I don't have an eating disorder or anything and am always hungry at meals but it's like my throat tightens up. I've had to get my throat streched before about 4 times. that does the trick for a few months. I do this salt inhaler every other day until november 11th, 3 days after my birthday. Today is an off day but it's getting to me. I think i'm just feeling really happy in general about things though. I've got a lot keeping me busy and a lot to look forward to. The next few months are some of my favorite of the year. i'll talk about that tomorrow (if i remember haha)

skype

Today was just another day. Played chess on the computer. Kind of discouraging that I lost by stalemate to the computer when I would have beat him on the next turn but I had done to many. I think in chess your only allowed a certain amount.

no excercise oh well.... maybe tomorrow

i know i'm not the only one getting tired of the election stuff. I hate how we'll be eating dinner and the phone will ring and my mom or dad will answer it and be like "Hello?! Hello?" and it will be for some obscure politic i've never heard of.

It was cool watching te celtics raise championship banner number 17. Unlike the other boston sports teams, I'd say the Celtics are ok. Only because they were bad for so long when I was growing up. It's not like how it would be for my dad or grandfather when they won the championship nearly every year. That's not going to happen again. It's to competitive now. I'm not saying at all there one of my favorite teams or something. I like only the Hornets.

My alias name of the day- "Your exactly right, Robert" me imitating troy aikman how he always says to the announcer next to him "Your exactly right"

I have skype now. Let me know if you're on it and maybe we can chat. I've found that it helps me with a hearing glitch I have. Something that they haven't quite figured out with cochlear implants or hearing aids is to be able to talk on the phone with them. Little or no sound comes out. However when you use Skype you talk into a microphone/camera on your computer and you see the other person and the sound comes out of your speakers and you can turn the volume up. It's really easy to use. I used to get kind of nervous talking on the phone because it was just so hard. I'd get sweaty and stuff. I realize something that simple just doesn't seem like it would be hard but it was. This is easier. My Iphone is great for texting and I can hear if we have a good connection but this is better.

october 28th blog

Does anyone have any cool cheap halloween suggestions for a costume. I'm not spending more then 5 dollars. I think I already have it but if anyone has any home made ideas i'd like it

My cochlear implant batteries are starting to die. they are only lasting 6 hours instead of a whole day. however I got lots of good use out them and they lasted a long time. Since you don't get the kind i use in stores you have to order them (operators are standing buy! call now! 1-800-coch)

They've helped me out so much, me and my moms friend margaret came over and showed us slideshow pictures with music from my moms 50th birthday. It was really cool. I've noticed a lot of people buying mac computers because of the photography options. They just opened an apple shop at the mall and everyone is talking about it. I haven't been to the one in new orleans but i've seen some at other malls while traveling. I would love one of those in a way but I'm very happy with what I have. I love this slim computer that is the size of an over priced Hornets dog at the New Orleans Hornets game (ok maybe 2 inches bigger) and of course the computer i use in our computer room is great for games which you don't have on macs except for like madden.

Other things I'll be making predictions on
The NFL PLAYOFFS
THE College Bowls
March Madness (once the brackets are released. I'm not just throwing in 65 teams out there)
Baseball

I made a very stupid move in fantasy football. I released matt jones. The WR for Jacksonville who got suspended for cocaine, but appealed his suspension. which delays his suspension I just didn't think of the possibilty that they would allow him to appeal his suspension after that when they don't let guys like pac man play. I really could of used him in the starting lineup over hines ward. Having either him or tony gonzales would have won me the matchup

In football there doesn't seem to be much of a reaction to guys doing steroids. I guess since they don't have long careers or guarenteed contracts there's not much of a fuss. Or maybe it's just that you don't have the blowhards who obsess over the stats and try to compare the skills of babe ruth to sammy sosa. In football everyone knows todays players are better then they were in the 1960's.

Weekend,casino visit

Sunday was a great day. My cousins and chris came over to watch the Saints game vs the Chargers. This was the London game (if anyone reads this 10 years from now) We order a couple of pizza's and I drank 3 A&W root beers. I was the only one drinking high sugar drinks. Chris and david play baseball so they've already been drilled into them never to drink that much sugar. I wish I had that in me. I'm disicipled in many ways but when it comes to sugary soft drinks, i can go a week without having them, then i go on a ccoke binge.....no not the white powder kind but the smooth dark sugary syrup kind that taste so good.............

From what I understand Pat is having a friend from Taiwan over for Thanksgiving. The reason for this is She can't go home for thanksgiving since it's so far and because it's not a Holiday for them. It's funny how we think of thanksgiving as a world holiday when it's really just an american holiday. Well if anyone has any ideas on what Taiwan people eat let know. I'm pretty sure they like rice and peperoni pizza with anchovies if the ninja turtle cartoon taught me anything when i was 5 years old...........oh wait those were teenage muntant ninja turtles.......not teenage taiwan wra girls

I went to harah's casino today. It was an interesting expeirence. I didn't bring a lot of money because I didn't want to lose a lot of money. Me and my mom brough 20 dollars. This covered food- I bought 1 lucky dog and 1 lucky sausage dog. This I have to admit is half the reason to going. Getting a lucky dog from a non street vendor were they are forced to wear gloves. Then I sat at the bar and watched ESPN and watched people around me lose money. They have so many slots in there. The place its self is so big it makes me wonder how big it compares to other casino's especially the ones in Las Vegas.
After eating my 2 luckydogs, I went to the slot machine by the exit and put in 5 dollars. This gave me credit for two turns. I pulled the slot of destinty and came up short. I had two "sevens" but it didn't give me the money. So nothing special happened. But I think this is the right way to gamble since I didn't blow to much money. I'm not going to be going back there at least for 1-2 months. They do a good job running the place. The smoking wasn't as bad as i thought it would be

Michael Boh's NBA Season Preview

NBA SEASON PREVIEW 2008-2009 Season

When we last saw the NBA last June, the Celtics were winning number 17. It was there first time since 1986 that they won the NBA title making it remarkable that they could go 21 years without winning and still be at 17 when the leagues only been around for just over 60 years. Anyway, none of this matters when we start the regular season in a few days. Here is a look at some previews and predictions-

The derrick Colemen* memorial award- Jason Kidd
*late in derrick colemen’s career when he was being payed about 10 million a year the team he played for the charlotte hornets. They were more then 20 games over 500. When he did not play and 13 games under when he did.

The mid career fantasy sleeper- Mike Dunleavy with nobody watching his games in Indiana he is getting better at everything. The guy shot over 40 percent last year from the 3 point line and over 80 from the free throws and is showing his number 3 over all pick potential that he had at duke.

The most over paid/over rated player- It’s got to be Elton Brand. How do you give a guy the max when he missed an entire season with an Achilles injury? That’s one of the worst injuries in basketball. I think the clippers actually got lucky when he didn’t resign with them and they went out and traded for Marcus Camby who will give them great defense and rebounds.
Defensive Player of the year- Tyson chandler. He keeps getting better every year on defense and offense. Look for him to also slightly boost his scoring average.
MVP- This is Lebron’s year. See predictions. By April there will be no doubts that he is taking home the trophy. The runner up with be Chris Paul followed by Dwayne wade

Atlantic Predictions
(1 east)Boston- A 5-10 game drop off from last year but still tops in the east
(5th east)Toronto- Chris Bosh another GT alumni leads them to there annual one and done in the playoffs
(7th east) 76ers- How long till we see Elton on the ground grabbing his knee in pain on espn.com with the headline “THE WRONG BRAND”?
New York Knicks- a little better, there is light at the end of the tunnel since isiash is gone.
New Jersey Nets- Playing for the 1st pick in the draft, lets not be stupid

Central predictions
(2 East) Cleveland Cavs- Lebron has the best year of his career averaging 30.00 ppg 8.5 RBG, 5 APG and leads them to the finals where they actually have a shot at winning
(4th east) Milwaukee Bucks- They made some good off-season moves like getting Richard Jefferson to go with Michael Redd And Andrew Bogut at center. They beat Toronto in the first round
(6th) Chicago Bulls- Winning the lottery helps but this wasn’t a bad team last year. It just didn’t have the right coaching. Getting Derrick Rose will help and give them added depth but you usually don’t want to count to much on a rookie pg who A. is 1 year out of college B. only averaged 14.9 points in college
(8 east) Detroit- the last few years, they have done good every year until the conference finals. This is going to be much tougher this year. This might be the last year for there core group of players since guys like sheed are getting old. They won’t come close to making the conference finals this year.
Indiana Pacers- Mike Dunleavy has a great season, it’s not enough however as they decide to play for a lottery pick late in the year, only 10 other teams are doing that. The south east division is very competitive this year and they are borderline playoffs. They barely miss out on it.

South east division
(3rd)Orlando Magic- They play in a weak division and manage to surprising win 50 games which is good enough for a 3rd place finish in the east. Dwight Howard is among the top picks for MVP but the voters always pick funny, it’s Lebron’s year and they give some votes to Chris Paul since he didn’t get it last year
Washington Wizards- On nights were they are healthy they can beat you, however I think they will be the token “team with lots of injuries” it has to be someone. Plus Washington couldn’t win with Michael Jordan how will it do it with these guys?
Miami Heat- They have 3 excellent players. However what they do not have is any depth. And that’s not in a Boston Celtics way last year where the Celtics had some young decent players who had one particular skill. The heat has Marion who is small but plays big for stats. He’s not a guy you want to play for a champion team. Michael don’t call me Pam Beasley will easily win the rookie of the year award. He could put up 18 ppg and 9 RPPG. They might trade either Marion or Wade if they can’t resign them during the year and the team has a losing record.

Atlanta Hawks- They are the same old Hawks. They didn’t match valuable 6 man Josh Childress to a Greece team, thinking there was no way he’d go over there and not take there lesser offer. Well he went (don’t look for that to be a trend that last, they are going to hate living over there being an athlete with all that cigarette smoke) for it and signed there. That shows you how unorganized the Hawks are. They were really lucky to be in the playoffs and it will come back to being the same.
Charlotte bobcats- does this team need to be in the NBA? Wouldn’t those 12 players, be better suited towards other benches. There maybe 8 guys on this team who could seriously play in the NBA. Larry Brown Will go one and done and regret coming back to coaching and not waiting till his Knicks contract expired

Prediction- in one of the biggest trades in NBA history, the cavs get Dwayne wade for multiple draft picks and players and cash. It will be at least Least 3 to 4 future first rounders which could be a huge deal if lebron leaves after 2010.
Rookie of the year- “Pam” Beasley
PLAYOFF Predictions –
1.*boston vs 8 Detroit- this is a classic NBA rivalry and it seems like these two teams whenever they are both good face each other in the playoffs. We need at least one fight during the series to make it memorable because the Celtics are taking it in 5 games and after the series the pistons fire joe dumars
2. *Cavs vs 7. 76ers- The 76ers are no match for Lebron in Michael Jordan like mode, they lose each game by at least 20 points
3. Magic vs 6. *Bulls- the bulls play really well towards the end of the year as Rose starts to get better and they win a close 7 game series
4. Bucks vs 5 raptors- Bucks in 6. It would have been 5 but david stern had the refs call it for Toronto in game 6 because he’s working on a new TV deal for Toronto and for Canada and thinking about more “global expansion” a team to Saskatoon, Canada to give them a second chance after the grizzles left for Memphis.
Second round
1.boston vs 4. *Bucks- bucks in 6. the Celtics look old in this series and people are starting to say the the 3 green guys have played to many minutes in there careers and are slowing down. The younger bucks look quicker and drop the 3’s. Doc Rivers “resigns” as coach shortly afterwords in a “we will pay you to quit kind of way” to save his a**
2. Cavs vs Magic- this is the only trouble for Lebron on his quest to get back to the finals. The Magic play 6 tough games with them but Lebron will not be denied on getting back to the finals. He has 4 fourty point games in the series and 2 triple doubles as they win in 6. It is during this series we’re people start to realize that he is not only one of the best right now but one of the best ever.
Conference finals- 2. Cavs vs 4. Bucks- You really think Milwaukee is winning this? Well, much like the Brewers run to the playoffs there luck runs out. They win game 1 on a a really questionable call from a ref who 6 months later is found to have money on the outcome. From here The Cavs and lebron don’t let that happen and the rest of the series is garbage time wins. Cavs in 5

Western Conference preview 2008-2009
In the western conference it is much tougher to pick. I’d say this year any of the top 6 teams could come out of the west and beat the east team or lose to the cavs. Which is not really saying anything I know.
South West division-
(1) New Orleans Hornets- If Peja stays healthy they won’t have a problem being better then last year. I could see them winning 60 games. I still don’t like the selling draft pick for money because there’s other ways to save money where you could have gotten a better player. They could have got a good defensive player off the bench for the first round pick and someone like Hilton. Still I have them going to the finals.
(4)Houston Rockets- Something we know- Yao Ming will get hurt around febuary. Something else we know when he eventually gets hurt headlines around the league will say “HOUSTON WE HAVE A problem!” The rockets always play better without Yao ming. Tracy Mcgrady’s health is getting worse. His arm is a problem. I don’t see him playing 60 games. Ron Artest will go crazy at some point. They could be brilliant or they could fold like Enron.
(6)San Antonio Spurs- Still the champs. But they will battle injuries one of these seasons as there players get increasingly older. Manu got hurt during the Olympics and we will have to see if it carries over.
Dallas Mavericks- I’m guessing Jason Kidd gets released in January. If we didn’t have him playing for us in the Olympics we would of won every game by 50 points. He’s to slow. Remember NBA teams, unless your sure a player like that can get you a championship it’s wise not to sacrifice your future. It’s not like football where you can easily rebuild.
Memphis Grizzles- Either they or Oklahoma City will win less games then the best team in the NFL this year.

Northwest- To bad the sonics moved to Oklahoma because a guy there was buddies with david stern and the two of them plotted to move the team there. The sonics arena was built in 1995 and cost 150 million of publically funded money. You can find a clip of David Stern on opening night 1995 in a tv interview at the arena talking about what a fine facility it is and how state of the art and how the sonics will always be in seattle. Sure………..

3 west. Portland- If Greg Oden is able to play and not be hurt they could be the best team in the West. So that sounds like to many whats and ifs. They do have a team who is improving a lot and they’ve bought other teams draft picks in recent years like the Hornets which is just going to start paying off. They get the right to these 18 year old European players and have the rights to them as long as they want. The player s then play in Europe for there club teams often making more then the Blazers are allowed to pay the player under NBA rules. Each time they decide it’s time for the player to come over to Portland, they send Paul Allen over to Europe and within a week the player is in a Portland Uniform. Hmmm under the table duffel bag full of cash? That’s why they buy the draft picks from us, because they might hit the next dirk. It’s like trying to mine for gold or strike oil.

5west Utah Jazz- They make the playoffs like they usually do. Weather they go further is up to how much better Deron Williams gets and if they get any breaks. Boozer is going to leave as a free agent when his contract expires so they need to win now. They always have to over pay for free agents in Utah.
Denver- They have Allen Iverson, they have Carmelo Anthony, one of them will be arrested this winter since the denver police is notorious of targeting African American athletes. I’m sure we’ve all had our lives impacted in a way when it comes to fantasy sports. They lost Marcus Camby in the off season who was the only player on the Nuggets to play any defense so look for a lot of 110-104 losses or 113-109. AI or Carmelo will be traded at the deadline to a contender in the west looking to go over the top, I could see one of them going to Portland.
Minnesota- Improving but not there yet
Oklahoma City- well they got there team. Enjoy
Pacific (aka the Lakers division championship division)
1. 2ND WEST Lakers- they must have won this division about 35 times. I read a stat that was like the Lakers have made the playoffs in 41 out of the last 46 years. Think about that. Why do thy not talk about that enough. It will be the Laker show again with Kobe slightly slowing down from playing all the basketball but they will do what they always do and be like the Yankees at the deadline but unlike them they will benefit from it. Teams in the NBA love making dumb trades with them.
2. (7Th)Phoenix- they are not winning the championship this year but will still win 52 games at least. So they won’t be easy to beat. It will be interesting to see how they adjust with no D’antoni as there coach
3. (8th)Clippers- The worst run Organization in sports from an owners standpoint. How Mike Dunleavy Sr. talked Baron Davis into the clipper show is hard to believe. Getting Marcus Camby along with a high 1st round pick will make them back in the playoffs. Mike can basically do what he wants since he’s the gm and coach cause the owner is to cheap to fire him since he has 3 years and 17 million left on his contract. At this time next year it’s possible he could fire him but not now. One thing I do have to question is they lost the most guys to injury in the NBA last year. They got rid of brand who was gone for 75 plus games but got davis who is hurt at least 20 games almost every year.
4. Golden State- They are heading to the lottery. Nothing else to write about.
5. Sacramento- Chris Webber is not walking through that door! Mike Bibby is not walking through that door! Peja is not walking through that door and if he was he be nailing the 3’s for the hornets.
Playoffs first round
1*Hornets vs8 clippers- The clippers don’t stand a chance on against the hornets. This is 4 and 0.
2 *Lakers vs 7Suns- One last playoff series between Shaq and Kobe before he retires. That doesn’t get much attention since Shaq hardly plays at this point . Steve Nash has one last great series and takes this to a 7 game finish as the Lakers take 7 games to win it.
3. Portland vs *6San Antonio- I have this feeling that Portland is a year away from being scary good. This will be another 7 game series and it will be the last playoff run for a while for san Antonio as the nba shifts in dominate teams from the ones who were on top in the early mid 2000’s. San Antonio in 7.
4.* rockets vs 5Utah- another rockets vs Utah series. I remember the great series in the 1995 between the rocks and the jazz back when they wore the retro awesome looking new Orleans jazz style ones. Hakeem Olajawon dominated that one. Anyway, Rockets win this in 5 in artest and yao ming are able to play
Western semi finals-
*Hornets vs rockets- My old favorite team before the Hornets came here. It was watching the Rockets win back to back championships in 1994- and 1995 that really made me a basketball fan, we would get all their games on fox sports. When the hornets game I started to cheer for the home team. Look for this to go 6 games with the hornets winning due to the 3 point shooting from posey
Hornets in 6

Lakers vs Spurs- come on you saw this coming before the season. I’m going to guess by this time Kobe is slowed down by injuries and the lakers come out flat like a pancake at Ihop and lose in 5 games.
Spurs in 5

Western conference finals- Hornets vs Spurs
This time it’s personal. I can sum up life by one quote rick flair(woooo at hornets games) said “To Be the Man, You’ve got to beat the man!” for the last decade in the NBA the man has at times been the lakers but mostly the spurs with 4 titles in 10 years. They are the past though. Chris Paul has his career defining series and makes Tony Parker look like tony longoria. I’m going with the hornets with the broom stick. In 4 games.
Hornets in 4.

NBA Finals- By now if your still reading this. You know I like Lebron and the cavs out of the east and chris paul and hornets out of the west. That leads us to our next point
If the cavs don’t get a point guard they won’t win.
Seriously, chris paul will run wild
So this is tough to predict. If they do nothing Lebron will win 2 games for them. But if they make a big trade they could win it. I’m going to go in between and say the Hornets win in 7 games in the New Orleans Arena to give New Orleans it’s first championship in the cities history. People will be flipping over cars all night long then Bryan Chevolet aka the cheaper dealer aka will’s Dad WILL be offering some “incredible championship prices” on cars damaged by the post game celebration riots.

*the minor league championship the zephyrs won in 1998 doesn’t count

bargins

GREAT BARGINS OUT THERE
with the economy the way it is, there's a lot of uncertainy, it's not all bad though. If you can take advantage of it there are lots of good bargins. Lately I've noticed the price of comic books from the site I've gotten them has dropped tremendously. I've really gotten into Simpsons and futurama comics since I love both shows. The price of these are down nearly a dollar to 1.50, a lot of the newer simpson comics where they ordered to many of them they are selling for $1.00. those are like prices from before I was born. So things aren't all bad. I know this is just a very small unimportant thing, but I'm buying a lot of them now before the price goes back up. I was able to get 25 simpsons comics for 30$ when normally that would be over 55$ also I got the rare futurama/simpsons cross over series well under value off ebay. So I think you'll see a lot of this stuff over the holidays. September and October are always the slowest months in the comic industry, and that's when the latest stuff in the economy has happened. I find it interesting.
i AM Trying to get myself ready for a future evacuation/most likely a hospital stay. I'm doing fine as of today. I don't think I will be in the hospital soon, however I want to be prepared when the time comes. So i've gotten a bag and I'm going to put my stuff in there and just let it sit, not using it except when I'm in the hospital or on a trip. This way if I have to be admitted, we won't have to pack it will just be already there. I'm trying to plan more things out like this to save time and energy. If anyone has any other ideas that could save time leave a comment.
Oh and i got my mom to buy 3 generic color tshirts so i don't get comments about "are they your favorite team? is ohio state your favorite team (i always happen to wear an ohio state shirt that pat got me, it just comes out the closet the in the least painful way........um that sounded wrong.)
i'm not trying to be mean to people who are just making chatter but when your in the hospital, not feeling welll you don't really want to answer the same question 15 times a day. I can understand the athletes getting that way sometimes even though you should do it without offending anyone.
My NBA Predictions are coming tomorrow. They will be on finish in division, playoff seeding, and winner of each series and the finals, along with Mvp prediction.
i will give out awards that are michael b predictions

french quarter pounder

PICTURES FROM THE QUARTER POUNDER with FRENCH (fries)
typical french quarter picture that your supposed to gush about since it's so old and shaggity looking and has a distinguished art pattern. It's pretty cool that they have that in New Orleans, I just don't know why this picture is special. But it might be, it could be, is it?
i couldn't turn it. it was actually a good picture

Lisa taking pictures for her florida condo. we went with her to take pictures with her. these were some of the best and average ones.

Chartres and Ursulines street in the french quarter. They have weird names like this. the building were more colorful on this street. I like the way they looked.

The best part of going in the French Quarter- Getting a lucky dog handed to you by some guy who's not wearing gloves. It still tasted great with way to much mustard and a coke. see the t-shirt, u know i like it. They have lucky dog stands in the french quarter, 2 in the airport.....i always look forward to trips since u get a lucky dog and they actually wear gloves there and look less homeless so u don't have to think about it being like that episode of futurama where fry ate the sandwhich from the gas station and had all these bacterias. they also according to luckydog.us have stands at harrah's casino (i will check that out soon), and china

HORNEYS GAME

Last night i went to the hornets exhibition against the Indiana Pacers. I have to say it was a lot of fun even though the game didn't count. My mom and I both agreed tremendously that they do a great job of entertaining you. My only complaint is the Arena food isn't good. I wish they got there food from the same place Tulane baseball got theres. It weird to think an NBA team doesn't have as good food as ncaa baseball. I think I might write on the Hornets website about it. The food used to be good before Katrina. I wonder whhy it's changed?

I loved drinking RC Cola and Mug Root Beer at the Hornets game. Rc Cola payed a ton of money to be the official soft drink of the hornets and it is worth it. I'm going to buy some next time I find it. I suggest everyone gives it a try.

About the game after halftime I started to feel exausted I was starting to cough a lot and I needed t9o do breathing treatments. So we left then. for a regular game we will stay longer. I'm still very tired and its past 10:30 am.

I had a very rough night health wise when I got home. My lungs were hurting on both sides. I got better eventually but it is scary. getting sick again would be terrible

the life of mike boh

Boh knows how to make it rain too but he keeps it real. he's a real hands off guy at dat stuff.

Football weekend

hornets game

michael is loving life

I have to wonder, was sitting in front of the TV and watching 6 complete football games a good idea on one weekend? Well the Saints lost, that was frustrating. They just have the most injury prone players and the O-line wasn't blocking at all for Brees. He was getting so many passes tipped.

I'm doing something really cool tonight. I'll let you all in on what it is tomorrow.

My first hornets game I'll be attending is tomorrow night. Not sure if Mike Dunleavy jr is playing but the Pacers are in town. Either way I love going to Hornets games. I find them to be more entertaining them Saints games to tell you the truth. I like football more to watch on tv but Basketball in person is better In my opinion.

I'm really happy with my life right now, I really enjoy these times when I feel "100 percent" which is really what feeling good is for me. I'm not sure what it's like for other people but my guess is it would also be great. I know in the future there will be other times of being in the hospital but you can't get carried away with that because it's important to live for the moment.

*sorry if I sound like Dr Phil. I'm just trying to explain how i feel about my health.

GOLF

I got to spend more time outside today then I have in a while other then riding the river boat. I played about 5 holes of golf today at the course. It was a lot of fun and something amazing happened on the first hole, my first swing after not playing for real since spring, I hit it 10 yards past my dad, hitting it about 240 yards. That is a thing to be proud of. The thing I'm most proud of is getting to play and feeling up to it.
Yesterday I was in the TV room from 6:30 am until 9:50 pm watching the new tv. Along the way I watched Georgia tech beat clemson, Lou Holtz have to apologize at half time for comparing Rich Rodriguez (the current HC at Michigan and former OC at Tulane...there worst move ever was not naming him as HC) to Hitler in leadership skills. Ouch. He meant this negatively but they don't need to have Lou be edgey. Also, they need to get rid of Dr. Lou, it's really lame. I don't think he meant anything by what he said but over sensitive people will take it the wrong way. It's weird because among our friends we might say stuff like that, not meaning or thinking of it being offensive that but in public it's wrong. To be on TV you have to be completely on guard of what you say. I guess that's how things work.
I think our chances in fantasy football this week are not so good. i'll get back to you tomorrow

NEW NEW NEW

Well, the day has come and gone- we have our new tv. I'm not going to go into size because i don't think thats good taste. It's just a nice modern improvement over the last one. The hd works a lot better since this tv was made for hd where as the last one was not.

first sporting event watched on the new tv- Hawaii vs Boise State from the Blue Turf. I didn't stay up for it all but Boise almost always wins on the blue turf.

I had so many happy memories with that old tv, like the time I saw my first sporting event in HD which was an NHL Game. Or when me and Tricia and dad watched Tulane (football) win the hawaii bowl. Though I kind of was just using the TV until a newer hotter model came along, we had some good times together. I won't miss it, but I'll never forget it. It Should of died during Katrina, but it had an extra life so to speak. Also I will never forget seeing the start of the Iraq conflict the current one on that TV.

news and notes from NOLA

NEWS AND NOTES FROM NEW ORLEANS
HOME OF MICHAEL BOH

I know this is late but- It's great to see Tommy Bowden get fired by clemson midway through the season. I always thought the way he left Tulane was lousy, leaving them before the Final game of the season. Also we kind of knew he was going to Clemson midway through the year, just a little bit past this point 10 years ago. Great to see him out of his job on the unemployment line even if they payed him 4.5 million not to coach (over reacting, also giving him the extension last year was stupid. Southern colleges we're football is life or death with lots of money i guess)

Me and my mom went to the glasses shop. I got my glasses tighted and picked out a new pair. I wanted something slightly smaller with more of a semi circular shape. I didn't want square glasses like I currently have. I just think when you were them as much as I have they start to get bent.

Been watching the Styvesster (sp) stallone movie "COBRA" it's everything you can imagine. Lots of shooting.

What I've been reading- I am about half way through the book MARAVICH. It's really a great book of him. He's an icon in basketball and since he played a long time ago a lot of people my age and below don't know much about him. I've seen clips of him on youtube and he could do anything Steve Nash could do and better since he was a better scorer by a mile. This book tells it all since it has the negative stuff unlike other official biographies about him. His wife contributed to it so it's more authetic. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10. It's really intresting but Pete wasn't the most interesting guy off the court. It's like his sole purpose for living was basketball, and that got him to the top. The book explains about his weird relationship with his dad who coached him at LSU. That is a bad idea to coach your son on any level past maybe high school.

I'm sure that's why Mike Dunleavy jr didn't go to the clippers when he was rumored to be traded there before being traded to Indiana.....well that and the Clippers are the clippers. Sorry to get off topic. My point was that's an easy way to hurt relationships.

It's kind of like how I've learned when you team up with someone in fantasy sports, like me and Chris; you got to careful how you react to a bad move by the other person because they could point out a bad move by you and the two of you could really get into it and damage your relationship. I hope that makes sense.

what i think

NEW ORLEANS
THE HOME OF HORNETS, SAINTS, AND BOH

I'm going to discuss today what I feel about things right now. I have my ups and downs about having CF and having been in the hospital so many times this year with so many days on IV or not feeling well. But I don't really feel to sorry for myself. I'm never that way in public and it's usually seeing a friend or family members that can make things be okay. I'm a very positive person so I think handling adversity is easier for me. I just don't have the nancy kerrigan (remember?) "WHY ME! WHY NOW!" after she was hit in the knee by tonya harding; kind of stuff going on. Sure I wish things were normal and that I could do things everyone else is doing but I've accepted who I am and it doesn't bother me. I'm happy with my life because I have great people who care about me. I am truely taken care of and know people have my back. Also there's a lot worser stuff then having CF.

I always felt my hearing loss was worse since it took almost all of my confidence away during my teenage years which are tough on everyone. I've just started to be the person I want to be. I feel like I've really progressed in the last few months. Being in the hospital and constantly talkink, I found improved my hearing so they did more then just making me feel better.
This truely is the Life Of Boh

(i hope this makes any sense, I'm trying to write more about my feelings instead of just, I DID THIS, MY TEAM DID THIS, This Happened yesterday, I thought that........)

voodoo are gone

HEY EVERYONE!! This is mike coming to you live from in front of his monitor.......

I didn't get to go to the zoo yesterday because the stupid place was closed. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm trying to come up with ideas for birthday presents. I don't want to ASK for to much since I'm older now and not a kid. So far my ideas for my birthday are the following- Universal Soldiers for Blu ray disc.....yeah I'm just into the heavy explosion shooter movies. Also Iron Man for blue ray. We are getting it installed Friday hopefully. I think that would be fair enough since it's one thing from each parent.

The SAINTS REALLY played well on Sunday. 34-3 is a huge blowout. It was one of the most dominating Saints games I've ever seen. I had been hearing the rumors for weeks but now it's official- Tommy Bowden is out at Clemson. I think all people who still have any emotional attachment to the Wave have to be happy since he left an undefeated Tulane team for a mediocre Southern School that has fans with way to high expectations thinking they should win the the national championship every year, when in reality it was just a huge fluke when they won it.

The New Orleans Voodoo are no more. I don't even know where to begin on this. I have no clue why they are just shutting the team down and not selling them. Correct me if I'm wrong since there might be a tax break or something but wouldn't you make money by gettting money from a sale of the team then to just close up? makes no sense.

This was Pat's last day home for now. I am going to really miss her but she said she would bring me BUCKEYE CRUNCH* so I await the day that comes to me

a football hangover

HEY!!! How is everyone today? I'm doing good. Feeling relaxed and ready for another week.

I won my first game in CHESSMASTER 10TH Edition!!! It's a great chess game because not only is it chess but it shows you how to get better at chess- one of the features is the 600 greatest chess games ever where you get to watch them and it has a move by move play by play breakdown where it points out the mistakes and where they should of moved the piece. this would be the coolest feature in a madden game. You could have the top 50 NFL games ever and they could break them down to help you learn more about football. I already know enough about chess to be able to win on my 3rd try against the computer. The game is http://www.amazon.com/Chessmaster-10th-JC-Pc/dp/B0011UEPB8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1223913135&sr=8-2 it cost like 11.81 so it's cheap.

I had a football hang over sunday morning from watching to much college football. I watched it from 11 to 9. Way to long of a day of football. My head was just killing me. Like having a concussion or something. I'm better now.

Pat is great to be with, I've enjoyed having her. We are going to try to take her to the Zoo if she feels up to it. Her Sinius are bothering her.

I'm really into Simpsons comics these days. They are admittedly below my age level but I think anyone can enjoy them. They have clever writing in them. Or at least the old ones did, I haven't read as many of the new ones. They are at the bottom of the pile of about 30 deep. There's a website I get them from called Comic Collector Live which has a Collector software were you type in all the comics in a series that you own and put the ones you don't in your wish list and when those comics that you don't have appear on the comic market place, where everyone is selling there's- you can buy it. I know that might sound confusing but it's not. I buy all the time on there. It's completely safe.

pat is home

my sister pat arrived home late last night from her school in ohio. It was great to see her. I really miss her a lot when she isn't here. She just really makes me feel happy to be with.

I found out that my computer has a chess game that I didn't know about. It came with it. I played it this morning and decided it was fun. I always liked those kind of game, but never had someone to play with. It teaches you how to play better chess and shows you strategy so you can get better and lets you play other people over the internet. It will give me something to do when I travel with my computer.

This is one of the best sports days of the entire year- we got FLORIDA-LSU and OU-Texas. Also Rays-Red sox game 2 should be a good one. Besides that you have endless hours of college football.

Pat,me and my mom did wii fit- our ages as followed-
PAT- 33(!) she thought this was really funny since she is 16
ANN-58 (8 years higher, it was an off day)
MIKE- 48 years old (the game told me I was overweight, and in poor health and that balance was not my "forte" among other things, OUCH!) I'm twice my age today. I will get better when I get my port out.

riverboat

The RiverBoat-it goes down the mississipi river

ME NOT HAVING washed my hair in a few days because of the port, getting it out soon though

Yesterday I suggested to my mom that we go to the french quarter and ride the river boat. I loved doing that as a kid. There are so many things in this city you can do, that you don't even think of. That's the good thing of living in a place where tourism is the focus.

We get on the boat, since the tickets are only about 25$ there are lots of ugly people on it
I found the whole thing very relaxing. I Sat outside for the first half of the ride. Then when the boat turned around during the second part me and my mom sat inside. I ate a crawfish sausage in there. It was actually pretty good, could have used a bun and spicy mustard but it was good. I had 3 really good cokes. It was one of those places with good cokes unlike popeyes or wendys.
Going on the riverboat and having such a good time has made me really interested in going on a Cruise ship for my next trip. If anyone has any expierence with this I would love to hear it. I want to go on one of the big boats that you see by river walk. I need advice on this. I read that there are all different kinds and I need imput, wait sorry to repeat myself. I'll stop.
I think the calmness and the change of scenery was really good for me. I've been sick on and off since April when I Started this blog. I really enjoy getting out and this took the least effort. I'm hoping I Can get a few months without coughing up so much mucus where it makes it difficult to go out in public after the port.
I have a birthday coming up, november 8th. REMEMBER!

thursday thoughts

FRIENDS OF BOH Featuring to many pics of marissa

wow it's thursday already? This week is going by quickly. I'm sorry for not updating yesterday, I had all the free time in the world I was just reading a lot, and playing NHL 09. Here's a book that I recommend to anyone who likes football- "boys will be boys"*

*- couldn't link to it from amazon. The search wasn't working right.

Pat comes home tomorrow. It's going to be a quick visit but it will be a lot of fun to have her. I had an idea that we could go to the river and ride the river boat down the mississipi river. I haven't done that since I was little and it sounds like a nice way to spend time with her without having to move around much. I'm still recovering but I'M much better then I was.

GT has an easy win this week vs Gard-Hump(bull) dogs. THE saints must win this vs Oakland to keep our season alive. I wish I knew how much Mcfadden was going to get the ball because as we've seen he can be awesome when they give him the damn ball aka keyshawn but they do the lame split carry thing. Being a saints fan first let them split the carries but it hurts having him in fantasy where he is good enough were you might start him but no one will take your deal for him so most of the time you don't use him and he takes up a spot. i HOPE this paragraph makes sense at all.

I am going to buy art for my room at www.art.com What I want is something that has to do with ART. ONE thing i liked a lot was a picture of GOLF Balls and the retro drivers with the wooden heads that were really heavy. With my birthday coming up we'll see. But anything sports related would be good in a frame.

I watched the fantastic four: rise of the silver surfer. Pretty average big budget super hero movie. Seen it before, but not like this. IN HD IT was incredible. If you have an HD tv you really owe it to yourself to subscribe to HBO with HBOHD. the picture makes a so so movie into a movie where you don't take your eyes off the screen because you get into somethingTHATS NOT THAT GOOD. Someday the novelty will wear thin but not now. I'm sure it was like this in the early days of TV.

Martin gramattica, INCORRECT

NOCC GOLF COLLAGE
created by Picasso*

Here is a collage of me playing golf. Hope you all enjoy. I'm going to be doing more stuff like this. Picaso* is a really cool free program you can download on the computer to make slideshows(like yesterday) and this and a lot more.
*think it's called this
I'm hungry. Haven't eaten much today. I woke up today and threw up my adek vitamin. It's no big deal for one day. It's not really a main cf drug or anything. It just helps you keep up strength I think. It's shaped like an egg and today I've had trouble swallowing. I think what happened is when I swallow sometimes, I'm nervous and I swallow it and it gets stuck in my throat. I have trouble swallowing food sometimes. I'll want to eat it and not be able to swallow. It's not the kind of thing some girls have where they have body issues. I don't mind being 206.6 pounds at the height of 6'1 (saying that announcer like) None of the doctors really know for sure except I do get my throat stretch every couple of months and that seems to help for a while.
Can you believe the way Tulane.........Ahem the Saints lost that game?? I'm starting to wonder if Sean Payton is that good of a coach because there were so many mistakes in it. Reggie Bush though is proving himself week by week that he was well worth the pick they took him at. He makes all the players around him better. He's like an extra WR coming out of the backfield (they said last night he had the most rec in NFL history for the start of a players career up until that point) We need to do the following- Stop making stupid mistakes (i know playing on Monday night is tough since it throws off a routine which is crucial in sports but still) and get rid of gramatica. He is incorrect. It was a terrible decision to keep him over the draft pick just because he was good at the end of last year. You have to look at more then that when determine those kind of things. Oh Well, on to next week.
fantasy- The ship is sinking, all is not well for the champs. Perhaps we got the post fantasy football championship distractions, like making to big of a deal about it and not really getting ready for the next season. I was totally unprepared at the draft. I'm not giving up though, ms boh's kids are quitters in things they are not good at but in things we have had success we strive to be the best.
By the way, check out NHL 2009. It's one of the best games in recent memory even though it's a hockey game. they made it about as perfect as you could make a sports video game. way better then the others.

EYE OF BOH

Where did I put those hats now that I think about it?

I'm feeling really good today. Better then In a while. So that's good to know.

Ross was telling me how pumped and jacked up people we're at vandy over the weekend. The school hosted ESPN college gameday which is the number 1 college football preview show. ESPN goes to a different campus every week for the game of the week and this was there first time ever going to vanderbilt. So you can tell he was excited. Then that night they held on to beat a ranked Auburn team with a great defense. They are 5-0 for the first time since 1943. You got to give them a lot of credit winning like that at an acadimic school that tulane wishes they could be like, in the toughest conference in football, against a team like Auburn.

Yeah, I'm still down on Tulane, I'll get over it, but I'm ready for Basketball season already. Going to be hard to go to the games with the Hornets season tickets. I'm not really upset though about football. But come on losing to army? I don't want Tulane to end up in ESPN's bottom 10 power rankings where teams like Syracuse go.

I Got a book about Jerry Jones and a book about the dallas cowboy teams of the 90's. I've always enjoyed reading football books even when it's not my team. Most of the local Saints books are garbage. We just don't have the winning history. Though the last 4 years have been very different. My parents have always encouraged me to read and Its one of the things I like.

Ate at Inferior grill* today, loved it. Much better then the last time

*- my stupid name for superior grill on st. charles. I don't know why that makes me giggle like a school girl.

These IV's are getting boring. I'm in my 3rd week of them. I feel like I'm always on IV's with these hospital stays so close together. I have faith though that one day I won't be on so many IV's and there will be stronger, better, (quicker) drugs for CF. I don't think it will be to far in the future with the improvement rate over the last decade. I'm an optimist on that. You have to be or else what do you have to look forward to.

Things I like in no order-
HORNETS/SAINTS
SiMPSONS TV/Comic/Movie
Tower Of Pizza
Friends
FINDing things I love unexpectedly
writing
reading
video games that are easy to figure out how to play, that don't take to long, that all your friends play, that are about fun, good music, innovative

edit- I added a thing called followers to my blog. This allows me to see who reads my blog all the time. you can sign up both anyonomous or with a name. it's to the right above the poll. I'm going to be adding some features on the right soon to keep it from getting stale.

family

the background to my iphone

I had a great time watching football with my younger couisins and uncle today. They are always good to see and we we're laughing at a lot of guy humor that not sports fans wouldn't understand. Since we all think alike it's funny.

One of my old classmates from St. G is getting married. Me and Marissa we're talking about this. For us it seems so young to be getting married. Even though I feel grown up in someways, I still feel like a kid. I notice people aren't treating me that way anymore like they did before my surgery and recovery. It's a milestone for sure. There was actually one other person from that class to get married earlier but um he kind of had to. no further comment.

The Colts and the cowboys sure got lucky. It's the great teams that have that happen to them. You rarely see that happen to the saints*

*2006 being the exception

I was really sore all over my body last night. I think I pushed myself to hard going to mccalister's (went back today) and my grandparents. I blame tulane football for it, they let me down. What I was worried for was being dehydrated again. It was really scary. I didn't sleep to well for another night. I had the same kind of bad feeling as last time somewhat. I felt good when I woke up today, but I'm getting a little sore as the minutes go by now. I hope it's not like last night. I don't need extra doctors appointments. (will go acourse without question)

Something really scary that before anyone gets worried, it has NOT HAPPENED

I had a dream last night that my mom was sick with breast cancer. Yeah. That was really unusual. That would be my biggest fear. Not me being sick. But if it happened to someone I'm really close to. The thing that scared me was that when I told her this, she told me she had her annual check up this week. To freeky. I completely didn't know before I asked. I'm postive everything will be fine though.

SATURDAY UPDATE

Glad to see the Yellow bee's get the win. However, Tulane is an embarassment on so many levels. Lets begin with-

-Playing a televised game at Tad Gormerly stadium. The Camera angle made it look like a high school game. I felt like there must have only been one camera in the entire place. This is the worst stadium to watch a game from.

-Nice visit at my grandparents house. watched the first half of the game. That's all I needed to see. I'm picturing my grandfather going triple OJ (justice is served) on the tv when they got to 44

-Getting beat by Army 44-13. Bob Toledo would be fired at any other school for this who wasn't run by a bunch of egghead penny pinchers who think acadimics means anything. they are to cheap to fire him You make lots of money by being on tv and having winning sports teams so people give you money. Toledo runs the most Vanilla offense I've ever seen. Matt Forte's not walking through that door*, JP Losman not walking through that door, Tony Converse certainly isn't because last I heard he was locked up in the big house for dealing drugs. (that never gets old to me, me and my dad drove my mom crazy last year during the nba playoffs saying it about anything. originated- http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2316916201142701408&ei=6fnnSIvKBJycrALHy9igCw&q=rick+pitino&vt=lf&hl=en)

I ate at McCalister's for the first time. I don't think Deuce has anything to do with it, no deuce gear. It was a 10/10 I had a delicious Submarine sandwhich (fitting with the navy book I liked so much) It had about 8 toppings on it with vinegar, some kind of oil, spicy mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, ham, some other type of meet. I highly recommend it.

-i am not really that mad about tulane football. When you write it gives you a way to vent your frusteration. I meant to be over the top and not to bitter sounding. But man being a wave fan is tough, everyone who supports the wave has got to have a second team or you wont care about college as much. Most of my tulane friends also cheer for LSU. that might come as a shock to people 35 years and older then me but that's the way it is. I couldn't do that. I know some people who are catholic who's second team by default is notre dame. They just haven't been winners in my life as a sports fan every year like they were before that.

tech

I don't know if I mentioned this but I signed up for scout.com, It's a site that tracks high school recruits for college b-ball and football, my friend eddie's on there. It funny to read what they have to say about him. Anyway the team I picked to sign up for was georgia tech. I first Subscribed to tulane's site on scout.com but it was not so good (hmm), not a real fan base (hmmm?) on there. So, I subscribed to GT's. They are now going my second favorite team. I decided to stick to them, in the past I've gone back and forth for my team who has a chance at winning a BCS championship between Bama, notre dame and a few others. When you support a team like Tulane for your favorite, I think it's ok for a second fav since tulane might go to a bowl game but they aren't winning it all. We found out about that 10 years ago. (12-0 but liberty bowl)

Why I picked them for my team that-has-a-shot-
my favorite offense to use in ncaa football video games because it's so impossible to stop, me and ross used to put up games of over 70 plus points each and rush for 600 yards a piece in ncaa gamebreaker 99 using a similar version http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/acc/2008-10-02-gatech-option_N.htm
It will be interesing to see if this kind of offense can continue to rack up the yardage like it has so far on the ground. I think it should help them since they don't have to out recruit Georgia or Flordia State or Miami for better athletes, they can win with a system that is hard to prepare for that no one else with the same caliber players has.

Another thing to like- being in Atlanta, if I ever wanted to go to a game it's the easiest city besides Houston to get to. You could fly up saturday morning really early and go straight to the stadium and have plenty of time. Then after the game fly home and be in your own bed that night. I just decided I liked them when we drove through the campus when we were in Atalanta during the hurricane (can't remember the name, gustava, or was it ike?)

I just felt like it would be fun for a team who wins and I couldn't bring myself to cheer for LSU. If tulane was playing them in any sport I would pull for the wave even the women sports. But against everyone else i'll take them.

Since it isn't pro's, and my fav team isn't in a bcs conference is this okay? reply back by pressing the comments button to agree or disagree

EMERGENCY ROOM STORY

It kept me from going insane in there

IMO- one of the best logos in sports. I have a t-shirt of this that I wear often

EMERGENCY ROOM- I was in the emergency room all afternoon until getting home at 7:00 yesterday. At first we thought we were in big trouble, so they took all kinds of tests that lasted about two hours. Then we waited 1 hour for the results. Then they ruled that I was Severevly dehydrated. Next I got two big bags of fluid saline. It took four hours for us to finish. I had to urinate so bad I could of over flowed the mississippi river causing disater michael, and fema would have had to come in and mop it up and scrub out the urine smell into the sewers.

This would be one of the toughest days of my life to sit through. It took forever and I couldn't read my really interesting book about Naval warfare in the Leyte Gulf in World War II. I kept getting nauseated from dehydration every time I would try to read it. I've gotten interested in the Navy lately so I think I want to go to Annapolis someday maybe for a football game and to check things out.

Luckily for us, the Baseball Playoffs have started so Me and my mom watched Brewers/Phillies. Well actually, every time I flipped to it my mom would stop watching. She only put up with baseball the one time we took her to Wrigley field. I have to give a shout out to "Budget" Bud Selig for providing with some entertaining games and giving us an afternoon game in the hospital. Helps getting through a difficult task easier.

My heart goes in (not out) to all the people who called, texted, and showed concerned. And those who didn't know I was there, I'm sure would have done the same thing. I just only wanted pat, richard, dad, mom to know until i got out since it's a little hard keeping up with the texting when you got doctors coming in and out and the texting is cut off on my iphone in that part of the hospital. It's cut like a steak, speaking of steak I had a delicious steak from home yesterday. My mom cooks just as good of a steak as Ruth CHRIS.

Life of Boh 10/1/08

Talking to Richard and EL-PAT-ABDUL-PATRICIA-JA-TRICIA (her muslim name)

Sorry for not updating yesterday. I Really was not feeling well. One doctor has diagosed me with as being anemic. It's not a sure thing but the symtums are there. I was going up the stairs yesterday about 24 hours ago when I collasped at the top and fell facing my room (didn't fall backwards that would be bad) It was a tiring day. I also had a little bit of fever, it was 99.6 degrees when usually I Run a little cold. I hope to get better though.

Something that I want to do that sounds like fun is riding the river boat. They have this big retro Civil war era style river boat which you can ride down the mississipi river. I thought this time of year is nice and the right time to do it. So I hope my health doesn't keep me from being able to go on it. Is that complaining? I really hope it's not.

Last week Tulane,LSU,and the saints all won. How much does that all happen? While it's not as rare as the pre-saban era, still It usually only happens 3-4 times a year.

Since the NHL Season Is about to begin and I'm the only person in New Orleans who finds it watchable, here's my stanley cup Prediction- Dallas Stars vs Pittsburgh Penguins The pens are taking the cup, 5 games baby.

I'm feeling better this morning but I usually don't feel bad in the morning. Yesterday Was an exception.

I had a bad dream that I was going up the back stairs in our house at night with the lights off and an alligator bit my leg from behind then i woke up screaming waking my mom up. I feel so bad for that happening. Since I'm on such heavy medicines for cf I have dreams like that often. It's not something that I like.
